Bill August, M.D.
Medical Education
Dr. August earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1980 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baptist Hospital in Birmingham. He is past chief of the medical staff at South Baldwin Hospital and serve in 1998 as president of the Alabama Medical Director's Association, a group of physicians who specializes in treating patients at nursing homes and long term care facilities. Dr. August is also nationally recognized as a Certified Medical Director by the American Medical Directors Association.

Dr. August takes a special interest in Geriatrics and long term care.
