Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Jimenez completed medical school and his first year of residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed two years of residency training at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas and completed his fellowship training at the Faculty Development Center in Waco, Texas.

Dr. Jimenez has special medical interests in preventive and emergency medicine and caring for the elderly.
