PENSACOLA, Fla. ---- Twenty-one Sacred Heart Medical Group physicians and nurse practitioners were recognized for providing excellence in healthcare by national healthcare research leader Professional Research Consultants (PRC).
The “Five Star” recognitions are awarded to providers who score in the top 10 percent nationally for excellence in patient attitudes. The awards are based on the survey question asking patients to rate the care they’ve received from a team or an individual provider. Awards are based on how often respondents gave a rating of excellent on the survey question.
“This is a tremendous honor and underscores our commitment to continuously improve the healthcare experience by providing a higher level of care to our patients,” said Bob Murphy, president of Sacred Heart/Providence Medical Group. “These surveys give patients the opportunity to voice their opinion, while giving us valuable insight into ways we can build on quality improvement initiatives that demonstrate our commitment to patient-centered care.”
The Pensacola providers who received “5 Star” recognitions are: Drs. Laura Yauch, Teresa Mahaffey, Adam Tarnosky, Brandy Boutin, Brian Perez, Anita Westafer, Amos Prevatt, Brian Sontag, Todd Stalnaker, Heidi Barker, Wendy Osban, Sean McWilliams, Stephen Zimmermann, Paul Tamburro, Stephen Bolduc, Kimberly Hood, Raymond Noellert, Mikael Mackinney and Andrew Henson.
